Common Core State Standards (CCSS) are the new state learning standards. Thus, students will take a new test (CAASPP) instead of the STAR test that most have become accustom to. CAASPP better asseses the Common Core learner, which means the students need a deeper level of understanding. Eye Level materials are aligned with the CCSS and can help students obtain a deeper understanding of the concepts.
